Plan a cup carried around a fixed platform center while its base and handle stay aligned with the same platform marks.

Turn a lazy Susan and keep the off-center cup on its mark

Original, untested video brief. No input image or generated result is supplied.

1. Task and boundary

Place one empty cup away from the center of a tabletop turntable and turn the platform through a short arc. The cup travels around the fixed platform center while staying over the same marked footprint on the platform. Its handle also turns with the marked radial line. Show that shared rotation from a stationary camera, separating platform-carried motion from a cup spinning in place.

This original brief is untested. Use a level turntable, one stable empty cup and a slow limited turn. Exclude liquid slosh, sliding tricks, a cup on the central axis, motor specifications and load-capacity claims. The marked footprint is a visual witness, not an adhesive or a mechanism that should appear during the shot.

2. Authorized first frame

Prepare an image or accurate drawing you own or have permission to use. Show a circular turntable resting on a fixed base. An empty handled cup sits off center inside a small unnumbered ring slightly larger than its base; an existing radial line passes beside that ring. Align the cup handle with that line in the first frame.

Use a fixed elevated three-quarter view showing the platform center, cup base, handle and front rim. One original hand touches only the rim to turn it. Leave the complete cup orbit inside the frame and include a stationary table detail outside the turntable as a background anchor.

4. Prompt and timing

Start from my authorized image of one empty handled cup sitting off center on a level tabletop turntable, inside its original footprint ring and aligned with a radial line. Keep the camera, table and turntable base fixed. The original hand turns only the platform rim slowly through a short arc, then stops it. Carry the cup with the rotating platform: its base remains centered within the same footprint ring, and its handle retains the same angle relative to the same radial line. Let the cup and those marks move together around the fixed platform center. Keep the cup upright and its base supported throughout. Preserve the cup shape, handle attachment, platform radius and center position. Do not slide the cup across the ring, let it spin independently, move it to the center, lift it into the air or rotate the camera around it. No additional hand on the cup, liquid, duplicate cup, moving background, cut or speed label. Stop the platform and cup coherently and retain their final marked alignment.
  1. Establish the fixed center, off-center footprint, radial line and initial handle direction before movement.
  2. Turn through the middle portion while comparing cup-to-mark alignment at several positions along the arc.
  3. Slow to a stop and hold the final view. Check the original background anchor separately from the rotating marks.

These beats are author suggestions, not exact model timing guarantees. Adapt their proportions to the clip length actually available.

5. Inspect the output

After inspecting your own output, record a time or frame, visible observation and pass, fail or inconclusive judgment for each condition. A convincing ending alone does not verify the preceding action.

  • The platform center and base remain fixed relative to the table.
  • The cup stays off center and travels along an arc around that center.
  • Its base remains inside the same footprint ring without relative drift.
  • The handle keeps the same orientation relative to the original radial line.
  • The cup remains upright and visibly supported by the platform.
  • Platform marks and cup stop together while the background remains stationary.
  • If the cup base is hidden for most of the turn, mark no-slip alignment inconclusive.

6. Fix one failure

  • The cup spins in place: place it clearly off center and follow its base relative to the ring, not only the handle.
  • The camera orbits instead: lock an external table detail while allowing only platform marks to rotate.
  • The handle resists platform rotation: retain its angle relative to the radial line through the entire arc.
  • The cup slides: reduce the requested turn and speed, then compare the footprint at intermediate positions.
  • The footprint becomes a physical socket: describe it as a flat unnumbered surface mark and preserve the unchanged platform surface.

7. Ending and limits

Finish with the original empty cup stopped on its original platform mark, its handle still aligned with the same radial reference.

Save your own generated result through the available result controls, together with the authorized input, exact prompt, settings and inspection notes.

No H3 result, friction test, platform load rating or angular-speed measurement is supplied. The requested alignment is a visual criterion, not proof that a real cup would avoid slipping under an arbitrary turn. Generic turntable showcase pages are not assumed to have this specific off-axis constraint.

The conveyor task carries an object along a straight moving support. The chair camera-arc task moves the viewpoint around a stationary object. Here a fixed camera watches an off-center cup retain its footprint and orientation on a rotating platform.
