Plan one visible push-fit release: press the collet toward the fixed fitting, hold it there while the same tube withdraws, and inspect the tube end clearing the opening.
Push-fit tube withdrawal: hold the collet while the tube clears
Original video brief; method not independently tested. No input image or generated result is supplied.
1. Task and source boundary
Explain a push-fit disconnection in one close-up: the release collet stays pressed against the fitting while the tube moves outward. A separated tube at the end does not establish that this two-part coordination was shown.
John Guest’s official drinks guide, printed August 2022 and retrieved on 23 October 2026, instructs users to depressurize the system, press the collet squarely toward the fitting and keep it there while removing the tube. Its Australian guide repeats that order on printed page 18 (PDF page 21). These instructions support the release relationship; they do not validate this shot, an input image or an H3 result. Plan an isolated, dry, unpressurized tabletop demonstration of a compatible standard collet-release fitting, already disconnected from any working system. The input must have no locking clip or collet cover and must not be a Twist & Lock, threaded or barbed connector. Compatibility and absence of pressure must be established outside the picture; an image cannot prove them. This is a visual brief, not a live plumbing disconnection procedure.
2. Prepare a readable input
Prepare a photo or accurate drawing you own or have permission to use. Show one fitting secured in a stable holder, one straight tube already inserted in its existing opening, and the separate external annular collet around that tube. Use a fixed oblique side view with enough open space along the tube axis for its inserted end to emerge and clear the opening. The actual collet must be distinguishable from the fitting body. No manufacturer illustration or practice file is supplied as an input.
Start with two hands already in place: one contacts opposite exposed edges of the collet to press it evenly toward the body, and the other grips the tube farther from the opening. Leave a near arc of the collet, the tube at the opening and the eventual exit gap visible. The holder keeps the body fixed. Match colors and hand positions to the actual input. If the grip hides the control or exit, prepare a clearer input before generation; do not ask the model to invent a cutaway or exposed internal teeth.
3. Open the current generator
Open image-to-video and select MiniMax H3 base. If First Frame is not visible, enable Add end frame, then place your authorized image in First Frame rather than the reference-image area. Leave Last Frame empty. Check the actual controls, offered settings and current credit estimate before a manual submission. The link prepares model and prompt text only; it does not upload your image or start generation. No exact duration, output setting or successful result is guaranteed.
4. Complete prompt and sequence
Use my prepared, authorized close-up of one isolated, dry, unpressurized standard push-fit tube connection. Keep the camera, fitting body and its holder fixed. Keep the two original hands and one original straight tube. The first hand contacts the exposed collet edges; the second grips the tube away from the mouth. First press only the annular collet squarely inward against the fitting while the tube stays still. Keep the collet pressed there continuously as the second hand slowly withdraws the same tube straight outward along its existing axis. Keep a near arc of the collet and the tube-opening boundary readable. Let the original inserted tube end emerge through that opening and become visibly clear, with a small open gap between its end and the fitting. Stop the tube at that first clear separation and hold, with the collet still pressed and retained in its original fitting. Keep tube diameter, wall shape, surface identity and both grips coherent; newly exposed tube is the previously hidden portion, not new material growing from the opening. Do not pull the collet out with the tube, twist the body, dissolve the tube, add a second tube, reveal invented internal teeth, or cut to an already separated ending. No reinsertion, collet return, camera movement or claim that visible motion proves a tested seal or real release force.
- Identify the fixed body, separate collet and original tube before movement. Confirm the demonstration setup and fitting type independently. If the body and collet cannot be told apart, stop at planning.
- Watch the collet move toward the body before the tube begins to withdraw. This brief uses a readable initial press interval; it does not prescribe a measured travel distance or force.
- During withdrawal, track both relationships together: the collet remains held against the body while the tube moves along its original axis. Do not substitute a final separated pose for this overlap.
- Follow the original inserted end as it becomes visible at the opening. Stop just after a clear gap appears; keep the collet held through the ending instead of adding a return or another connection.
5. Inspect an actual output
Only after viewing an actual output, record the time or frame, visible evidence and pass, fail or inconclusive for each check. An obscured collet, tube end or exit boundary is inconclusive. A visible gap supports separation in the image; it cannot prove hidden grip release, pressure state or safe equipment operation.
- The fitting body, holder and camera remain fixed while the original tube withdraws.
- The distinguishable external collet is pressed toward the body before the tube starts outward; the tube remains still during that initial press.
- The collet stays held against the fitting throughout the tube’s withdrawal and the final clear-gap hold; it does not leave with the tube.
- The same tube keeps its diameter, surface identity and visible end structure; progressive emergence is not stretching, splitting or a replacement tube.
- The tube exits along its original axis through the existing opening, without a visible sideways escape through the body.
- The original inserted end is visible outside the opening at the end, with a readable gap; shortening the tube into the fitting is not separation.
- The two original hands retain their roles and leave the control and exit readable. If occlusion or skipped frames hide either relationship, mark that interval inconclusive.
6. Repair one failure at a time
- Tube moves before the press: request a readable initial collet press while the tube stays still, then withdrawal with the press maintained.
- Collet travels out with the tube: distinguish the external ring from the tube and keep the ring retained in the original body.
- Hand hides the entire ring or exit: change the authorized input’s viewing angle or grip before another attempt; added transparency cannot recover evidence.
- Tube shortens or grows: track its surface identity and the emergence of its original inserted end; reduce the withdrawal distance if needed.
- Fitting drifts or rotates: keep the stable holder and body landmarks fixed and assign outward motion only to the tube-gripping hand and tube.
- Ending jumps directly to a gap: request a continuous exit through the original opening and stop at the first clear separation, without reinsertion or a return motion.
7. Ending, saved result and limits
One unchanged tube has just cleared the original opening. A small gap separates its end from the fixed fitting. The original collet remains in that fitting, still held inward by the first hand.
After your own generation finishes, use the normal result-download control to save it. Keep the actual input and its permission record, exact prompt, settings and timestamped observations with the video. A saved file is not a passing inspection.
No H3 generation or real disconnection test was performed. The source PDFs are research evidence, not supplied practice inputs. This brief does not establish internal tooth motion, release force, retained pressure, seal condition, tube damage, suitability for reuse or successful reconnection. Follow the specific product’s instructions for any real installation or disassembly.
The connector page checks one rigid insertion and the cord page checks feeding through an already open fixed eyelet; neither has a release control that must remain held during withdrawal. The snap-latch page checks bending and recovery during seating. Here a control press overlaps the full tube exit, so reversing an insertion or adding a completed unlock step would omit the decisive hold-through-clearance check.
