Give two adults a short wave-and-reply greeting with separate hands, clear gaze directions and a natural ending.
Stage a clear two-person wave greeting
1. Task and boundary
Use this greeting for a team or everyday scene. Keep both adults in their starting places and let them wave in sequence: the person at frame left finishes before the other replies. This makes each hand path and the ending easier to inspect.
The related exercise checks two adults against one ground plane. This task adds two separate greetings while keeping that shared ground and each person’s identity readable. See Two-person relative height: keep both adults on one ground plane.
These are suggested visual beats, not guaranteed timing or model controls. Adapt the small movement to the supplied first frame and actual available settings.
2. Authorized first frame
Supply your own or authorized image of two consenting adults, or original adult characters. Show both figures on the same level ground, facing slightly toward each other with a clear gap. Each greeting hand should start visible beside its own body; leave room for it below face height.
3. Use the generator
Open the image-to-video generator, provide your authorized first frame and paste the prompt. Check available settings and cost before submitting; this page does not upload or submit for you.
- Opening: identify the two adults, their greeting hands and the clear gap.
- Action: watch the left adult’s complete wave, then the right adult’s reply.
- Ending: confirm both hands are down and no further wave begins.
4. Prompt and timing
Use the supplied first frame and a fixed medium-wide camera. Keep the original two adults in their starting positions, looking toward each other. The adult at frame left raises the hand nearest the gap to chest height, makes one small side-to-side greeting wave, then lowers it beside their body. The adult at frame right then replies with one similarly small wave and lowers their hand. Keep each arm attached to its own shoulder and preserve both outfits, faces and feet. Hands stay on their own side of the gap, below the faces, without touching. End with both hands lowered and both adults standing naturally. No speech, handshake, repeated waving or camera movement.
5. Inspect the output
Inspect the actual opening, motion and ending. For each criterion, record a frame or time and pass, fail or inconclusive; hidden details remain inconclusive.
- Each wave belongs to the same adult and arm before, during and after the movement.
- The first hand lowers before the reply begins, and both greetings have a visible end.
- Gaze directions are compatible with the two starting positions; neither face is covered by a hand.
- Both adults keep their original outfits and supported standing positions without touching or merging.
6. Fix one failure
- If the arms swap, use more distinct outfits and a wider visible gap.
- If both wave continuously, specify one complete left-side wave followed by one reply.
- If a hand covers a face, lower the gesture to chest height and reduce its width.
7. Ending and limits
Both adults remain in their original places, with hands lowered and attention still directed toward one another.
