Shift an existing storefront toward a subdued evening look, lighting only visible original fixtures while preserving its sign and entrance.
Bring a storefront into an evening-lit state
1. Task and boundary
Use a fixed storefront view for a short evening opening shot. Begin with the actual shopfront and clearly visible light fixtures. Let ambient light ease down modestly, then brighten those fixtures without remodeling the façade or inventing signs, offers or opening-hour information.
The related room exercise preserves geometry during a daylight change. This task combines a modest ambient change with light from the storefront’s own visible fixtures, while keeping the sign and entrance readable. See Window daylight shift: change light, preserve room geometry.
These are suggested visual beats, not guaranteed timing or model controls. Adapt the small movement to the supplied first frame and actual available settings.
2. Authorized first frame
Supply a storefront image you are authorized to adapt, with permission for any depicted branding. Show the complete entrance, the original sign and one or two recognizable unlit or dim fixtures. Confirm the sign wording from your source. Avoid unreadable tiny text, passing crowds or fixtures hidden outside the frame.
3. Use the generator
Open the image-to-video generator, provide your authorized first frame and paste the prompt. Check available settings and cost before submitting; this page does not upload or submit for you.
- Opening: identify the original fixtures, sign wording and entrance edges.
- Action: separate the modest ambient dimming from the later fixture brightening.
- Ending: compare the sign and architecture with the input at the stable evening state.
4. Prompt and timing
Use the supplied first frame and a fixed camera. Preserve the original storefront, sign wording, door, windows and façade. Gradually reduce the ambient brightness slightly toward a dusk appearance, keeping architectural edges readable. Then let only the existing visible light fixtures brighten gently. Keep the light sources at their original positions and allow a restrained glow on nearby surfaces. Do not add lamps, glowing letters, new signs, sale text or building details. Preserve the original door position and window layout, without people entering or objects moving. End at a stable evening-lit appearance with the entrance and sign still recognizable. No camera movement or full blackout.
5. Inspect the output
Inspect the actual opening, motion and ending. For each criterion, record a frame or time and pass, fail or inconclusive; hidden details remain inconclusive.
- The original door, windows, façade and sign retain their layout and outlines.
- Any readable sign wording matches the supplied source, with no new offer or opening-hour text.
- New brightness originates at the existing visible fixtures rather than invented lights or letters.
- The ending keeps the entrance readable without a blackout, clipped glow or continued exposure pumping.
6. Fix one failure
- If letters change, reduce the transition and reject altered wording rather than presenting it as shop information.
- If extra lights appear, name only the visible original fixtures and remove generic illuminated-city wording.
- If the façade disappears into darkness, keep more ambient light and reduce fixture glow.
7. Ending and limits
The original storefront has a stable evening appearance, with its existing fixtures lit and its entrance, windows and sign still readable.
This is a suggested visual transition, not an observed time-lapse or a verified lighting system. It does not establish actual opening hours or promotions. Unreadable sign text remains unverified.
