Plan a traveling band of close turns in one stretched coil, with neighboring turns moving along the spring axis.
Send one compression pulse along a coil spring
Original video brief; method not independently tested. No input image or generated result is supplied.
1. Task and source boundary
Show one brief push at the left end of a loosely stretched coil spring. A band of closer turns travels toward the right while the spring stays on its original straight axis. The task is following a changing spacing pattern, not transporting the entire spring across the table.
This original animation brief covers a visible longitudinal pulse. Exclude a spring walking downstairs, a sideways rope wave, repeated pumping and a whole spring compressed at once.
2. Prepare a readable input
Use your own or authorized photograph or accurate drawing of a wide, loosely stretched coil on a plain horizontal surface. Show each end and enough separated turns to see spacing. Two existing hands hold the ends near opposite frame edges. Choose a shallow elevated side view with background landmarks beside three regions of the coil. Keep the full spring inside the frame; overlapping turns that cannot be distinguished weaken the check.
3. Use the prompt in the current generator
Open the current image-to-video generator, choose an available mode accepting your authorized first frame, and paste the complete prompt. Match its directions to your input and review current settings and the cost estimate before submitting. This page supplies no image and starts no generation; the beats are suggestions, not dedicated motion controls.
4. Complete prompt and sequence
Start with my authorized image of one loosely stretched coil spring lying along a straight horizontal axis, held by the two existing hands. Lock the camera and lighting. The right hand keeps its endpoint fixed. The left hand makes one short push toward the right, then returns to its starting position and stops. Show a single readable band of closer coil turns moving from the left region through the center toward the right region. Individual turns move locally forward and backward along the existing spring axis; they do not travel with the band all the way across the frame. Preserve one connected coil, its wire thickness and its endpoint identities. Keep the coil centerline near its original table axis, with no sideways snake motion or vertical jump. Do not slide the entire spring, add turns, exchange springs, split the wire or create multiple simultaneous pulses. After the first band reaches the right region, allow the remaining small motion to diminish into a stable stretched coil. No cut, camera move, labels, graph or extra hands.
- First fifth: establish both endpoints and the initial gaps in the left, middle and right regions.
- Middle three fifths: show one push and follow the closer-turn band through those regions in order. Compare the band with a nearby background landmark.
- Final fifth: keep both hands still and let small remaining motion diminish; do not restart the push.
Adapt these proportions to the available clip length; exact timing is not guaranteed.
5. Inspect an actual output
For your own output, record a frame or time, the visible observation, and pass, fail or inconclusive for each check. Hidden events remain inconclusive.
- The right endpoint stays in its original location throughout the initiating push.
- Closer spacing appears first at the left, then centrally, then nearer the right; the whole coil does not translate.
- Recognizable nearby turns move locally along the axis while the dense band passes them.
- The coil stays connected without turns vanishing, multiplying or crossing through one another.
- The final frame retains a stretched coil on the same axis with both original endpoint grips.
6. Repair one failure at a time
- All turns squeeze together at once: shorten the initiating push and specify successive left, middle and right arrival.
- A snake wave appears: ask for changing axial spacing and a stationary centerline.
- The whole spring slides: reinforce the fixed right grip and background landmarks.
- Coils fuse into a solid tube: widen initial gaps and reduce the requested compression.
7. Ending, saved result and limits
End with both hands still and the same connected coil resting along its original axis.
Save your own generated result through the available result controls. Retain the authorized input, exact prompt, settings and inspection notes.
No H3 execution or spring measurement is supplied. This visual plan does not establish wave speed, stiffness, energy transfer or an exact reflection pattern at the far end.
The existing rope-single-transverse-pulse owner follows sideways displacement; this task follows axial turn spacing. Accordion paper closes fixed folds rather than carrying a local spacing band along a continuous coil.
