Follow one seated leg from floor contact to a new ankle-on-knee support while the chair and supporting foot stay stable.

Cross a seated leg: rest one ankle over the opposite knee

Original, untested video brief. No input image or generated result is supplied.

1. Task and boundary

A seated adult lifts one foot, rotates that bent leg outward and rests its ankle across the opposite knee. The final support changes from the floor to the other leg. Follow the same knee, shin and ankle through the crossing instead of accepting an instant swap between two seated poses.

This original shot brief is untested. Use a comfortable small movement with both legs fully visible. Exclude standing, stretching instruction, pain assessment or a large torso twist. The exercise checks visible support and continuity, not whether a pose suits a particular person.

2. Authorized first frame

Use an authorized photograph or accurate drawing of an adult seated on a stable chair. Both feet start on the floor, knees apart enough to identify separately, and hands rest away from the legs. Choose the picture-right leg as the mover.

A frontal three-quarter view should show the seat contact, both knees, ankles and complete shoes. Leave space above the receiving knee and beside the moving knee. Keep a chair leg and floor seam visible. If the two shins overlap at the start, improve the source angle rather than inventing a hidden route.

4. Prompt and timing

Begin from my authorized image of a seated adult with both feet down and the picture-right leg selected to move. Keep the camera, chair and picture-left supporting foot fixed. Lift the original right foot clear of the floor while keeping the knee bent. Rotate that same thigh gently outward and carry its shin across until the right ankle comes above the left knee. Lower the ankle into visible contact on the opposite thigh just above the knee and let it rest there. Preserve the continuous hip, knee, shin, ankle and shoe connections; do not exchange the two legs or pass one through the other. Allow a small natural torso adjustment while the pelvis stays on the seat. End in this ankle-over-knee pose. No standing, kick, hand assistance, duplicate foot, cut or return movement.
  1. Opening fifth: identify the moving shoe and both initial floor contacts.
  2. Middle three fifths: inspect sole clearance, outward knee rotation and ankle travel above the receiving knee.
  3. Final fifth: check the new ankle contact while the other sole and seat support persist.

5. Inspect the output

For each check, record a frame or time, observation and pass, fail or inconclusive judgment.

  • The moving sole clears the floor before crossing inward.
  • The same knee bends outward while its ankle approaches the opposite knee from above.
  • The receiving foot stays planted and the chair stays stationary.
  • A visible ankle-to-leg contact replaces the moving foot’s floor support.
  • Both legs retain their original joints, clothing and shoe identities.
  • If contact is hidden behind trousers or the crop, mark the final support inconclusive rather than assuming a hovering ankle rests.

6. Fix one failure

  • The legs exchange identities: track one shoe and ankle continuously across the middle beat.
  • The ankle passes through the knee: increase its approach clearance before lowering.
  • The entire body floats: retain pelvis contact with the seat and the opposite sole on the floor.
  • The final pose becomes a tight thigh crossing: repeat ankle above the opposite knee and keep the moving knee outward.

7. Ending and limits

Hold the seated pose with one ankle resting across the opposite knee, one foot still on the floor and the same chair supporting the pelvis.

Save your result, authorized input, exact prompt, settings and inspection notes.

No generated result, mobility assessment or force measurement is provided. The pose is a visual staging request only.

The standing leg-lift task returns a foot to its original floor area. Here a seated leg changes to a different visible support on the other leg and stays there.
