Keep one existing candle flame attached to its wick while adding a small tip movement and restrained local brightness changes.

Add restrained candle movement to a table scene

1. Task and boundary

Use a small flame movement to bring a quiet table scene to life. Start with one candle already lit. Concentrate on the flame tip and nearby glow while the candle, holder and tableware remain in place; no ignition, extinguishing or expanding fire is needed.

The related cup-steam shot separates a moving atmospheric detail from a still object. Here the moving detail is a flame whose base must remain at the original wick, with only modest local light variation. See Steam above a cup: generate the motion, composite the exact mark.

These are suggested visual beats, not guaranteed timing or model controls. Adapt the small movement to the supplied first frame and actual available settings.

2. Authorized first frame

Supply an original or authorized table image with one already-lit candle in a visible holder. Show the wick or a readable flame-base contact and some nearby tableware as fixed references. Choose a modest flame with enough detail around it; avoid a fully blown-out bright region.

3. Use the generator

Open the image-to-video generator, provide your authorized first frame and paste the prompt. Check available settings and cost before submitting; this page does not upload or submit for you.

  1. Opening: identify the original flame base and fixed table references.
  2. Action: compare the moving tip with the stationary base, holder and nearby edges.
  3. Ending: confirm the same candle remains lit without an added event.

4. Prompt and timing

Use the supplied first frame and lock the camera. Preserve the original candle, wick, holder and tableware. Keep the base of the single flame at the original wick. Let only its upper shape sway gently and vary slightly in height, without splitting into separate flames or detaching. Allow a small soft brightness variation close to the candle while keeping the surrounding objects readable. The candle body and holder stay still. Do not add smoke, dripping wax, new flames, ignition, extinguishing or a scene-wide flash. End with the same candle still lit and the table composition unchanged; the flame may retain a small movement.

5. Inspect the output

Inspect the actual opening, motion and ending. For each criterion, record a frame or time and pass, fail or inconclusive; hidden details remain inconclusive.

  • One flame remains based at the same wick; no detached or additional flame appears.
  • The candle, holder and tableware keep their original shapes and positions.
  • Tip motion remains small rather than becoming a growing fire or a different object.
  • Local brightness changes leave nearby edges readable without a whole-frame exposure jump.

6. Fix one failure

  • If the flame floats, show the wick more clearly and reduce tip movement.
  • If the scene flashes, limit the requested light change to a soft local variation.
  • If the flame multiplies, simplify the input to one readable candle and remove extra flame reflections.

7. Ending and limits

The original candle stays lit in its holder, with a small flame movement and unchanged table layout.

This is an untested visual atmosphere brief, not a demonstration of combustion, fire safety or a candle’s real performance. An obscured wick cannot prove that the flame base stayed attached.

Save the result with the input source, exact prompt, actual settings and inspection notes using the available result controls.
