Use the existing pocket mouth as the only entry and exit while tracking hand, cuff and garment continuity.
Put a hand into one pocket and draw it out again
Original, untested video brief. No input image or generated result is supplied.
1. Task and boundary
A relaxed hand enters an existing side pocket, pauses, then comes back out empty. The pocket edge progressively hides the fingers and later reveals them in reverse order. The exercise concerns a changing cloth boundary around one connected limb, not disappearing a hand and replacing it with a new one.
This original shot plan is untested. Use a plain loose jacket with one open pocket and no contents involved. Exclude retrieving keys, fastening a zip, turning the body and transparent fabric. The interior remains unknown, so inspection relies on entry and exit edges.
2. Authorized first frame
Prepare an authorized waist-to-shoulder photograph or accurate drawing of one adult. The chosen hand is just above the open side pocket, its fingertips aimed naturally into the opening. Include the whole pocket mouth, wrist, cuff and elbow-side sleeve.
Choose a view where the near pocket lip is visible against the sleeve and background. The pocket should be large enough for the proposed relaxed hand without a strained pose. Record the original seam corners and cuff shape. Keep the other hand away so the crossing cannot be mistaken for a handoff.
3. Use the generator
Open the current image-to-video generator in a mode accepting your authorized first frame. Paste the prompt; check settings and cost before submission. Nothing runs automatically.
4. Prompt and timing
Start from my authorized image of an adult’s relaxed hand poised above one open jacket pocket. Keep the camera, torso direction and other hand steady. Move the original fingertips through the existing pocket mouth. Let the near fabric lip progressively occlude the fingers and palm while the connected wrist and sleeve remain visible. Allow a small local bend of the pocket edge, but preserve its original seam corners and opening. Pause with the hand inside, then reverse the motion and withdraw the same empty hand through the same mouth. Reveal the original fingers continuously as they clear the cloth. End with the hand just outside the pocket and the edge resting near its starting shape. No new opening, transparent garment, retrieved object, extra hand, body turn or cut.
- Opening quarter: identify fingertip position, both pocket corners and the wrist connection.
- Middle half: inspect progressive cover at the mouth, the inside pause and the start of withdrawal.
- Final quarter: follow the last fingertips clearing the edge and compare the empty hand with the start.
5. Inspect the output
For each check, record a frame or time, observation and pass, fail or inconclusive judgment.
- Entry occurs at the pre-existing mouth, not through the jacket panel.
- Visible hand area reduces behind the near lip while the wrist remains connected.
- Pocket corners remain attached to the same garment region.
- Withdrawal reverses the entry route through the same opening.
- The revealed hand preserves finger count, cuff and empty palm.
- If the whole wrist disappears behind an unexplained cloth change, mark limb continuity inconclusive even if a matching hand later appears.
6. Fix one failure
- The fabric opens a second hole: anchor both seam corners and name the original mouth.
- The hand shrinks instead of entering: track its unchanged wrist width at the lip.
- An object appears on withdrawal: specify empty fingers and avoid retrieval language.
- The pocket stretches across the torso: allow only a local edge bend and use a shorter insertion.
7. Ending and limits
End with the original empty hand outside the same intact pocket and both seam corners still visible.

No generated result or reconstruction of the pocket interior is supplied. Occluded finger positions cannot be verified during the pause.
The foreground crossing moves a whole subject behind a fixed obstruction. Here one attached limb enters and exits a deformable opening while the torso stays in place.
