Follow an initially uncreased sheet bending, aligning its edges and retaining a newly pressed fold.
Fold a flat sheet once and create one new straight crease
Original, untested video brief. No input image or generated result is supplied.
1. Task and boundary
Make one new fold in a blank rectangular sheet that starts flat. One half bends across the middle, the outer edges align, and a hand presses the new fold before releasing. The initial broad bend should narrow into a crease instead of behaving like two rigid panels already connected by a hinge.
This original visual brief is untested. Use one plain sheet with no visible crease, perforation or scoring. Exclude accordion folding, cutting and a multi-step paper model. Only the new fold’s visible formation and retained two-layer state are inspected; no paper-strength test is implied.
2. Authorized first frame
Use an authorized overhead-oblique photograph or accurate drawing of a single flat rectangular sheet on a table. The left hand steadies the left half near its outer edge; the right hand holds the right outer edge, ready to lift.
Show all four corners and the blank center area. The intended fold runs front to back through the sheet’s midpoint, but no line is drawn there. Choose a modest sheet size so the original right edge can reach the left edge within the frame. Leave the center and pressing hand path clear.
3. Use the generator
Open the current image-to-video generator in a mode accepting your authorized first frame. Paste the prompt; check settings and cost before submission. Nothing runs automatically.
4. Prompt and timing
Start from my authorized image of one flat uncreased sheet, held at the left half and right outer edge by the original hands. Keep camera, lighting and table fixed. Lift the right edge and bend that same half upward, then over toward the left. Let a broad continuous paper bend form through the midpoint, without a pre-existing hinge or separated panels. Bring the original right outer corners into alignment with the left outer corners so two halves overlap. Hold the aligned edges while the free hand presses once along the newly formed straight fold. Release that pressing hand and leave the folded sheet resting in two connected layers. Preserve paper width, all original outer edges and continuity across the fold. No new crease elsewhere, tearing, cutting, extra sheet, printed guide, cut or unfolding cycle.
- Opening fifth: verify the flat uncreased center and locate all four outer corners.
- Middle three fifths: follow the broad bend, edge alignment and one pressing pass along the new fold.
- Final fifth: inspect the folded sheet after the pressing hand lifts away.
5. Inspect the output
For each check, record a frame or time, observation and pass, fail or inconclusive judgment.
- The starting center is visibly flat without an established fold hinge.
- The same right half bends continuously instead of separating or teleporting.
- Original opposite outer corners align without changing sheet size.
- The pressing hand follows the new fold after the halves overlap.
- After release, one connected sheet remains in a folded two-layer state.
- If the center is covered before and throughout bending, mark new-crease formation inconclusive; a folded endpoint alone cannot distinguish a new fold from a hidden old one.
6. Fix one failure
- An accordion appears: specify one center fold and retain every other region without added creases.
- The halves behave like a box lid: show a broad bend narrowing only as the edges align and pressure is applied.
- Corners miss each other: reduce the travel complexity and name the original matching corners.
- The paper tears at the fold: preserve one continuous sheet and remove forceful crushing language.
7. Ending and limits
Finish with one newly folded sheet resting as two overlapping layers, connected along a single straight crease.
Save your result, authorized input, exact prompt, settings and inspection notes.
No H3 result, crease-radius measurement or durability test is supplied. A visible fold does not certify material properties.
The accordion task closes several pre-existing creases while retaining panel adjacency. Here the input has no crease and a new localized fold forms under bending and pressure.
