Animate the departure moment in a garden bird portrait: the original bird releases its perch and enters the clear space above it.

Create a bird takeoff from its original visible perch

1. Task and boundary

Animate the departure moment in a garden bird portrait: the original bird releases its perch and enters the clear space above it.

A wing flap while the feet remain attached is not takeoff. The finishing view must separate the same feet and perch.

Use one bird, one perch and a short departure that remains inside the frame.

2. Authorized first frame

Choose an authorized side or three-quarter image with the bird already gripping a visible perch. Show both feet, the complete wings and clear space above and ahead.

3. Use the generator

Open the image-to-video generator, select your authorized first frame and paste the prompt. Review the available controls before submitting; this page does not upload or generate for you.

  1. Choose a crop that includes the wing tips and the intended departure space.
  2. Request one release and departure, with no return or landing.
  3. Pause at the last grip and the first clear gap beneath the feet.

4. Prompt and timing

Keep a fixed view of the original bird and perch. The bird spreads its original wings, makes a short upward wing movement and releases both feet from the perch. Follow the same body into the visible space slightly above and ahead. Keep the wings attached to their original shoulders and the perch stationary. Finish with a clear gap below the feet, before the bird exits frame. No replacement bird, hanging toes, new branch or cut.

5. Inspect the output

Review the complete result, then pause at the listed events. Mark an obscured event not visible; the prompt itself is not evidence that it happened.

  • The same feet begin wrapped around the original perch and later release it.
  • Both wings stay attached to the original bird through the departure.
  • The bird moves away while the perch and background remain fixed.
  • The finishing frame shows a readable gap between the feet and perch.

6. Fix one failure

  • If the toes stretch back to the perch, shorten the departure and explicitly release the grip first.
  • If a wing leaves the crop, use a wider source image rather than asking the camera to chase the bird.

7. Ending and limits

The same bird is visibly off the perch, still complete within the original composition.

This designed departure does not establish a species-specific flight pattern or show what a real bird did.

If a save or download control is available, retain the complete clip alongside the first frame and the exact prompt.
