Plan an ordered flame lean, extinction and smoke departure from the same fixed match tip in one uninterrupted view.
Extinguish one match flame, then follow the brief smoke
Original, untested video brief. No input image or generated result is supplied.
1. Task and boundary
Show a single already-burning match flame leaning briefly in one direction, disappearing, and leaving a short smoke thread from the same tip. The important boundary is the handoff between flame and smoke: smoke must remain attached to its visible origin before drifting away, without relighting or a new source.
Use an authored image or existing authorized photograph. This is a visual planning exercise, not an instruction to stage a live flame. Keep the match supported and exclude an ignition sequence, added fuel or dramatic fire spread.
2. Authorized first frame
Prepare a drawing or photograph you own or have permission to use. Show one upright match held by a small metal clip over an uncluttered base. Its flame is already present, with the match head and a length of stem visible.
Leave empty darker background above and to the right for the smoke path. Keep the clip edges readable as anchors. Avoid a bright white backdrop, multiple flames or a crop that hides the head.
3. Use the generator
Open the image-to-video generator in a mode accepting your authorized first frame. Paste the prompt and review settings and cost before submission. Nothing runs automatically.
4. Prompt and timing
Use my authorized first frame of one already-burning upright match held in a fixed clip. Lock the camera, illumination, clip and stem. Show one brief airflow event from left to right: the existing flame leans right, becomes smaller and goes out. After extinction, a thin smoke thread begins at the same darkened match head, initially curves right and then rises into the empty background. Let that thread spread and fade as its production tapers. Preserve the head position and continuous origin of the smoke. No relighting, second flame, explosion, falling match, new fan, hand, camera move or cut. End with the unlit match and fading residual smoke.
- Opening quarter: establish the flame, match head and clip before deflection.
- Middle half: inspect the rightward lean, loss of flame and first smoke at the original head in that order.
- Final quarter: follow the thinning smoke above the unlit head. These shares set an edit rhythm, not a combustion timetable.
5. Inspect the output
For each check, record a frame or time, observation, and pass, fail or inconclusive judgment.
- The clip, stem and head stay fixed against the background.
- The original flame changes shape before it disappears; no cut replaces the burning match.
- A new smoke thread originates at the same head after the visible flame is gone.
- The thread curves and rises continuously instead of appearing as a detached cloud.
- The ending remains unlit while residual smoke thins; no second ignition occurs.
- If glare makes a small flame indistinguishable from a glow, mark extinction timing inconclusive instead of assigning an exact frame.
6. Fix one failure
- Smoke starts elsewhere: anchor its origin to the visible match head.
- Flame and smoke coexist throughout: clarify the ordered handoff and shorten the smoke phase.
- Smoke becomes a solid ribbon: ask for a thin translucent thread with irregular edges.
- Match tilts with the flame: repeat fixed clip and stem, changing only flame shape.
7. Ending and limits
Hold the same unlit match in its clip while the last visible smoke loses definition.

No H3 generation, fire test or airflow measurement is supplied. The image sequence cannot establish temperature, gas composition, extinguishing effectiveness or safe operating conditions. The prompt is untested and carries no performance guarantee.
A generic fading trail follows a moving source, while this event keeps one source fixed and changes what leaves it after visible extinction. Flame deflection, disappearance and subsequent smoke origin are the required states. Changing match color or backdrop alone is not a new task.
