Chevrons locking with heavy mechanical clunks, glowing amber one by one. The event horizon kawooshes, then settles into its liquid-mercury shimmer. She steps through and snaps her fingers. Everything freezes instantly. [0:03-0:09] Silence. Only she moves. She walks calmly to the dialing computer, types a single short command, and steps back. Done. No hesitation. She's done this before. [0-09-0-121 She glances around the frozen roomsoldiers mid-sprint, a technician mid-shout. She looks at them for one quiet beat, almost amused. Softly, to no one: "You're welcome." Then turns back toward the gate. [0:12-0:15] She snaps again. Everything resumes, alarms, shouting, motion. Nobody saw her. She steps back through the event horizon without breaking stride. The gate powers down. On the dialing computer screen, the new command blinks quietly. Fade to black. Sound: alarms / chevrons locking + kawoosh + snap → silence + soft boots on grating → keyboard clicks → "you're welcome" + snap → chaos resumes + gate powers down + fade.
