A weathered fisherman in a wool cap leans on a harbor railing at dawn and speaks to camera, his breath fogging in the cold as gulls wheel behind him. A slow push-in holds on his face at medium close-up. Soft blue dawn light, warm skin tones, a fishing boat rocking out of focus behind him. Documentary portrait, 85mm, shallow depth. He says in a slow, weathered Irish accent: {The sea gives, and the sea takes. You learn to thank it for both.} The sea gives, and the sea takes. <gulls, gentle harbor water, a distant bell>.
