Detektivbüro im Film-Noir-Stil

A trench-coated detective stands at a rain-streaked office window in the 1940s, smoke curling up from a cigarette resting in a glass ashtray as the ember glows. A slow dolly-in creeps past the desk lamp and settles on his silhouette. Hard venetian-blind stripes rake across the far wall, one warm tungsten key, deep crushed blacks. High-contrast black-and-white film noir, heavy grain, anamorphic. <ticking wall clock, rain on glass> (a lone distant saxophone).
