# Curtain breeze: move the cloth, fix the window

Practice one gentle curtain sway with a clean window input and checks for fixed attachments, frame corners and a settling hem.

These original SVG/PNG teaching inputs were authored for a method exercise. No video model was run and no generated result is included. PNG files are raster counterparts of the editable SVG sources.

## Input responsibilities

Upload only the clean first frame; diagram is for review.

Use the current controls at /generator/image-to-video; check actual accepted inputs and settings before submitting.

## Goal

Move only the curtain cloth in a light inward breeze while the rod, upper attachments, window frame and room remain fixed. This is a local fabric-motion brief, not a wind simulation.

## Preparation

- Use the supplied closed-window illustration with two hanging curtain panels and a visible rod. If replacing it, retain the top attachment line and the full hem.
- Choose one gentle inward sway and a partial settling. Do not ask for a storm, an opening window or a curtain pulling free.
- Keep lighting and camera fixed so cloth deformation can be distinguished from a moving room or changing exposure.
- Compare the lower hem against the sill and side table. These fixed references belong in the scene; motion guides appear only in the separate diagram.

## Copyable brief

```text
Use the uploaded window scene as the first frame. A light indoor breeze makes the lower portions of the two curtains billow gently inward once, with small changes in their folds. The top attachment points stay on the same fixed rod. The rod, closed window frame, window divisions, sill, table and camera remain stationary, and the daylight stays steady. Keep the curtain fabric length and color consistent. Let the lower hems ease back close to their starting positions, ending with a small quiet residual sway rather than a repeated large flap.
```

## Procedure

1. **Identify the supported edge** — Trace the top of each curtain along the rod. The top is fixed; a fabric wave should begin below the attachments instead of carrying the entire panel across the window.

2. **Limit the cloth movement** — Ask for a small inward billow, not a full lift. Keep the hem within the visible space so its movement can be compared to the sill and table.

3. **Compare frame corners during the swell** — At the widest billow, check the frame and rod before admiring the folds. A bending window is a structural failure even if the fabric looks fluid.

4. **Review the settling path** — Follow the hems as they ease back. Look for unchanged length, retained attachments and no duplicated cloth; do not label the result a seamless loop without an actual join check.

## Observation record

Use checks.csv to record pass/fail/not-observable and the earliest affected time. Do not pre-fill a pass: there is no generated clip in this package.

- Both curtain tops remain attached to their original rod positions.
- The rod and window corners stay fixed without bending.
- Only the cloth below the attachment line billows.
- The curtain length and number of panels remain unchanged.
- The hems move a small amount relative to the sill and table.
- Window divisions, furniture and daylight remain steady.
- The cloth settles toward its starting hang without detaching or looping into a large flap.

## Revise one variable

**The whole curtain panel slides on the rod**: Change only the attachment sentence to fixed top points, then inspect the top edge during the widest billow.

**The window bends with the fabric**: Keep the camera fixed and strengthen only the rigid window-frame role. Retain the same breeze amplitude for a clean comparison.

**The hem rises nearly to the rod**: Reduce only the billow amplitude to lower-cloth movement. Recheck cloth length and the settling interval before adding stronger wind.

## Ending

Finish near the original hanging shape with only a quiet residual sway. Save separate attachment, window and hem observations; a loop requires additional start-to-end verification.
