# MiniMax H3 graphic match-cut prompts: align two circles, then cut

Move from a circular window to a circular object by making a hard cut between two separate scenes. The viewer follows the selected shape and position while the background changes immediately. This is an editing decision, not a request for a continuous AI morph.

**Original practice inputs and an untested method.** No H3 generation or finished edit has been executed. All PNGs below are separate input illustrations, not generated outputs.

## 1. Define the shot roles and download separate inputs

S01 is an original wall with a circular window. S02 is a different original tabletop scene with a plain ochre disc. In both authored PNGs, the selected circular boundary is centered at (512,470) with diameter 340 on the 1024-square canvas. These values are recorded in match-geometry.json so an editor knows which boundary matters. Each file is a separate full-frame input; do not join them into a contact sheet for upload.

## 2. Preserve the selected visual relationship

Choose one outer circular edge in each image, not whichever smaller ring happens to match later. The backgrounds are deliberately different. Keep the window centered in its own shot and the disc centered in its own shot, without treating them as the same physical object. The illustrations establish comparable geometry only at the supplied starting frames. Generated frames may drift, and the coordinate file cannot force a provider to deliver exact pixels.

## 3. Prepare each single-shot task manually

Prepare S01 alone and save its full result. Prepare S02 in a new manual task with the separate scene and prompt. The default action starts only the S01 draft. In an external editor, choose two actual frames whose selected circle is clear, adjust crop or scale if needed, and cut directly between them. A still-image edit can be used to plan the idea before any paid generation, but it must remain labeled as an authored planning edit.

Use the current **MiniMax H3 base image-to-video** workflow. In the presently documented controls, enable **Add end frame** to expose **First Frame**, upload only the current shot PNG there, and leave **Last Frame** empty. This method does not use Fast, which requires paired inputs. Recheck the actual controls and credit estimate before a manual submission. Files do not upload or submit themselves. SVGs and geometry/role sheets stay local as design notes. No duration, resolution, automatic editing or exact endpoint guarantee is implied.

## 4. Use the shot-specific original prompts

**S01 — Circular window scene (default draft only)**

```text
Start from this original circular-window illustration. Hold a locked front view with the same selected outer circular opening centered in the frame. Preserve the rigid wall, opening boundary and quiet scene through the window. Keep movement minimal; a very small ambient light change may occur without moving the camera or changing the circular shape. Do not zoom, reshape the opening, introduce text, transform the wall into an object or cut to another scene. End on a stable readable circle. This is one source shot for a later manually edited hard cut.
**S02 — Plain circular disc scene**
```text
Use this original plain-disc scene as a separate independent shot. Keep a locked front-facing view of the ochre circular disc and its existing outer boundary. Preserve the disc center, tabletop arrangement and rigid round silhouette with only minimal ambient light variation. Do not change its size deliberately, move the camera, add branding, turn it into a window or insert a transition. Hold a clear circle at the ending. The preceding window clip will remain a different scene; a human editor will align actual frames and make a direct cut.
```
Each later prompt belongs to a new manual task with its own PNG. The single default button cannot generate, assemble or validate the whole sequence.
## 5. Inspect real frames and record uncertainty
Compare the actual frame just before and just after the cut. Record the selected circle center and diameter in the blank table, using the same coordinate convention on both sides after editing. The table leaves measured values empty. Do not count the two authored 340-pixel circles as evidence that future generated clips will match. There is no universal pixel tolerance in this package; agree on a viewing-size tolerance in the editing project before calling the join acceptable.
1. The same selected outer-circle boundary is used for both alignment measurements.
2. The retained circle centers and scales are compared after the actual edit, with any crop/scale adjustment recorded.
3. The background changes at an explicit hard cut; no dissolve or continuous shape morph is mislabeled as the result.
4. Both original scene inputs and unedited source files remain identifiable; no generated-match claim is inferred from the drawings.
## 6. Repair one mismatch without changing the task
If the generated camera drifts, select a more stable segment or align that segment in the editor instead of promising model-precise tracking. If a shadow becomes the apparent selected edge, choose a clearer take or redefine the measured edge consistently in both shots. If the background dissolves or one object stretches into the other, remove that transition. A match cut accepts the sudden scene change; smoothing it with a morph changes the task.
## 7. Deliver the edit with its limits
The deliverable is two source scenes plus an explicit editorial cut with documented shape alignment. Keep the unedited source clips and the crop/scale decisions so the join is reproducible. This package has not generated those clips or executed an edit. It supplies original first frames, two prompts and blank geometry-review files.
A focus pull changes what is sharp within one shot. Continuous silhouette morphing changes one shape through intermediate frames. Here the scenes remain separate and the edit intentionally has no intermediate transformation. The method neither proves object identity across scenes nor guarantees a pixel-perfect generated circle.
