# MiniMax H3 rolling-cylinder prompt: couple travel with rotation

Move one cylinder a short distance to frame right while its marked end rotates clockwise. The useful distinction is between rolling, sliding and a camera tracking past a stationary product.

Original synthetic practice still, not a generated result. No model run has been performed.

Files: first-frame.png (1024×1024 actual first-frame input), first-frame.svg (editable geometric design source; do not upload as if it were PNG), prompt.en.txt / prompt.zh.txt, acceptance.blank.csv (all observations empty), task-definition.json and RIGHTS-REVIEW.txt.

## Generator

Use MiniMax H3 base image-to-video. Turn on Add end frame to expose First Frame, upload first-frame.png only, and leave Last Frame empty. Fast requires a pair and is not covered. Choose only options offered by the current interface; opening it does not submit.

## Starting state

The original illustration has a short teal cylinder resting on a horizontal surface. A light radial stripe on its circular end makes rotation visible; the floor line and two distant blocks provide fixed position references.

Track three things independently: the end-face center, the stripe's orientation and the lowest visible floor contact. A rotating stripe alone does not prove that the object traveled.

## Steps

1. Mark the starting center and stripe direction on a separate note. Leave visible floor ahead of the cylinder; a tight crop makes translation impossible to judge.
2. Request a short roll and a settled ending before adding a push, an incline or collisions. The visible task is coupled motion, not a demonstration of a force applied by a hand.
3. Compare the same floor landmarks at three pauses. If they move with the cylinder, you may be seeing a camera move instead of the intended object motion.

## Acceptance

- The center travels right relative to the stationary floor landmarks.
- The stripe rotates clockwise while the end face remains a single stable shape.
- Floor contact remains visible; the object neither hovers nor changes diameter.
- Translation and rotation both stop in the ending hold.

## Limits

This is a qualitative rolling-continuity exercise. It does not certify friction, inertia, exact angular velocity or a no-slip distance equation.
